Dr. Ramil Adhikari

President

Kia ora, Namaste and Hello,

I am honored to lead our Nepalese Culture & Tourism Promotion Forum, New Zealand (NCTPNZ). The Nepalese Culture and Tourism Promotion Forum, New Zealand Incorporated established to promote Nepalese cultural programs in New Zealand, to foster Nepalese tourism enhancement activities in association with governmental bodies, private sector, and non-government organization (NGOs) in New Zealand, to share tourism including eco-tourism, cultural-tourism advice to New Zealanders. In addition to it, it facilitates the socio-cultural relationship between Nepal and New Zealand and roll out any other charitable function to promote tourism activities.

With having a strong historical bond, I would like to acknowledge the ascent of Mt Everest in 1953 by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay as a key analogy. Nepal and New Zealand have very close, warm and friendly relations with many common basic interests and opportunities to be explored further. The close ties of friendship and cooperation with New Zealand are indispensable to the prosperity of Nepal and constitute the principle of its diplomacy, which can potentially be the basis on which we can further engage in multilateral and extensive diplomacy to promote tourism and trade among the two nations.

It is important for Nepal to endeavour to promote mutual trust and understanding with New Zealand by making wide contacts with New Zealand, not only between the Governments but also at various levels in the non-Government sector in all fields, political, economic and otherwise.

I along with our  executive team and members wish and hope this Forum mahi, objectives & strength will aid reinforcing our relationship and identify the newer opportunities to prosper through tourism and socio economic development.

Thankyou!
Namaskar

Best Regards,
Dr. Ramil Adhikari
President
